Move over, Spot—there’s a new kind of primer in town! Enjoy this hilarious spoof on classic early readers in a boxed set offering a hardcover copy of the book and a nine-inch tall cuddly plush version of the beleaguered canine star.
See Max. Max is a dog. But much to his dismay, this book keeps instructing readers to “see the cat.” How can Max get through to the book that he is a DOG? From Geisel Award winners David LaRochelle and Mike Wohnoutka comes a comical battle of wits told in a trio of stories for beginning readers. Meta and clever, this award-winning book will have kids howling . . . and reaching out to commiserate with their own plush version of Max the dog.
